Melaleuca laterita
Melaleuca laterita or Robin Redbreast Bush is one of the beautiful Melaleuca’s native to South/West Western Australia. It is a multi-stemmed erect shrub with fine linear leaves and bright red/orange flowers which can occur over several months. Growing to a height of 1-2m and a width of 1-2m, this is a very adaptable plant ideal for the garden, and prefers a sunny to part shade position, it also responds well to a light prune after flowers and an annual light fertilize. Good for attracting birds and bees.
