Eucalyptus polyanthemos – Red Box

Red Box –  An attractive medium sized tree, reaching a height of between 15-20m.  It has distinctive round leaves of blue-grey and flowers of creamy/white, which appear between spring and early summer.  Very dense wood, is ideal for fuel, and has also been used for fencing.  Drought and frost tolerant, and a good ornamental tree grown for its glaucous foliage.
