Acacia sophorae – Coastal Wattle

Acacia sophorae or commonly know as Coastal Wattle is a small to medium shrub that may grow as large as 2-3mt in height when planted in sheltered sites.  It has bright yellow flowers that appear mainly in late Winter and Spring.  This plant is great for coastal planting and for dune stabilisation where it will tolerate sea-spray.
