Banksia spinulosa or Hairpin Banksia is usually a small to medium multi-stemmed shrub (1-3 by 2m). Yellow or golden flower cones with black or red styles. It will grow under established eucalypts and can be pruned into shape successfully. Great for attracting nectar feeding birds.
