Eucalyptus cosmophylla – Cup Gum

Eucalyptus cosmophylla or Cup Gum is a short-trunked tree with a large dense canopy (4-8m by 6m). It has distinctive leathery leaves and large fruit capsules with cream to white flowers. Native to Kangaroo Island in boggy, infertile soils. Best suited to cool moist conditions including poorly drained soils. Adaptable.
